India vs New Zealand 3rd Test: 2nd Day

Bravo Zak! Once again, Zaheer has proved why is he the best indian pacer. His 5 wicket haul on 2nd day brought the kiwis on backfoot. Apart from Ross Taylor, who scored 42, no other kiwi batsman could resist the indian attack. Before the starting of this test match, talks were there that on this wicket, where temperature is below 10 C,the pace of wind is very fast, Indian batsmen would not be able to face New Zealand attack. But everything was just turned around by indian team. Indian batsmen scored 375 runs in a single day, that is a record on New Zealand pitches by indian team.On the other hand, the home team batsman were bundled out on below 200.This now brings India in commanding position in this game. The highest total on this ground in 4th innings is a mere 213. New Zealand would have to bat in 4th innings. Now india need to just capitalize the conditions and consolidate the lead upto 300. That total would be good enough for New Zealand to chase....
